Great Crowd ,who are they in the Bible ?

in the book of revelation the word "great crowd" appears 3 times,it is quite interesting that in all 3 verses it says a great crowd and not the great crowd .could that possibly mean that this is not a specific group but just a multitude of spiritual beings in heaven ?in the same line of reasoning the bible uses the word "a great crowd " in john 6:2 ," 2 but a great crowd kept following him, because they were beholding the signs he was performing upon those who were ill." are we to believe that the great crowd in john 6:2 has any significance ,or identifies a specific group of people with unique attributes?.

If The JW Religion Wasn't So Strict Would You Be Against It As Much As You Are?
by minimus ini don't think i'd be so involved in making the truth be known if they weren't so extreme.. only when it affects our quality of life and our family and friendships, do i feel the need to tell others of what i know to be true about the religion.. what about you?.

The problem is that this question doesn't really work. The control is such an integral part of their religion that if it wasn't there, there would be no Jehovah's Witnesses. Their whole concept is based on the fact that the Faithful Slave has complete control over Jesus "domestics". If that didn't exist, there would be no Watchtower.
That being said, if I could imagine a world in which the organization did not control everything about everyone's lives, then no I would not be as intense in talking about them. I would view them as any other religious group. I don't feel the need to go around and talk about other religious groups (including non Christian ones) because I feel happy to let people believe what they are going to believe. If they want to become a Christian, then I would accept them with open arms. If they want to talk about faith, I am happy to share mine. But I am no longer (and this is somewhat new) moved to shove ANYTHING down ANYONE'S throat about my faith. However, with JWs I feel moved to try and get through to them that this cult is extremely dangerous and damaging to every part of a person's life.

it is not a huge surprise and i am not afraid nor "shaking in my boots", however i will admit it is stressful right now.

this term, first known to be used by neal thomison around 1998, refers to the meta issues which surround the topic in question.. in designing software, creating art or negotiating contracts often the context and implications of the topic on the history and interrelationships at play is often as significant, if not more significant, that the content of the topic itself.. .

by Recovery ini have been repeatedly pleaded with to read the books of ray franz in my short stay on this board.
apparently these are all the all-powerful, wt crushing arguments, that lead so many to leave jw's and become ruthless opposers of god's people.
we can discuss any claims/statements/scriptural arguments presented in either of his books, as long as it somehow proves jehovah's witnesses are not god's people.
